Ingredients
  

  • 2 large chicken breasts cut into strips
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese low-moisture recommended
  • 4 large flour tortillas burrito size
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika smoked paprika preferred
  • 1 tsp dried oregano or Italian herb blend
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • nonstick cooking spray for the air fryer basket

  • Large mixing bowl
  • Meat thermometer

Method
 

  1. Add the chicken strips to a large bowl. Sprinkle in the garlic powder, paprika, oregano, salt, and pepper. Toss well until every strip is evenly coated.
  2. Preheat your air fryer to 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 3 minutes.
  3. Spray the air fryer basket with nonstick cooking spray. Arrange the chicken strips in a single layer with space between each piece.
  4. Air fry for 10 minutes, flipping the strips at the 5-minute mark. Cook until the exterior is golden and the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees Fahrenheit.
  5. Place each tortilla in the air fryer for 30 seconds to warm and soften before assembling.
  6. Lay each tortilla flat. Add chicken strips down the center and top with shredded mozzarella. Fold in the sides and roll tightly from the bottom up.
  7. Place each wrap seam-side down back into the air fryer at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 2 minutes until the cheese melts and the outside is golden. Rest for 1 minute before serving.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat in the air fryer at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 3 minutes. Wraps can be frozen for up to one month.
