- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Lightly grease a baking dish or line with parchment paper.
- In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise, shredded Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, seasoned salt, and black pepper. Stir until completely smooth and well blended.
- Arrange chicken breasts in a single layer in the baking dish. Do not overlap.
- Spread the creamy Parmesan mixture evenly over the top of each chicken breast, coating edge to edge.
- Bake uncovered at 375 degrees F for 40 to 45 minutes until the topping is golden and bubbly and the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165 degrees F.
- Remove from the oven and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
For a crunchy topping, sprinkle panko breadcrumbs or crushed Ritz crackers over the coating before baking. Chicken thighs can substitute at a slightly reduced bake time of 35 to 40 minutes. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Reheat at 300 degrees F covered with foil. Can be frozen for up to 2 months.
