Ingredients
  

  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts pound to even thickness if needed
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp paprika smoked paprika recommended
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice freshly squeezed

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Pound chicken breasts to even thickness if needed.
  2. In a small bowl, combine olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Stir until fully mixed.
  3. Rub spice mixture all over each chicken breast coating every surface. Place in a single layer in a baking dish. Drizzle lemon juice over the top.
  4. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes. Check at 18 minutes for thinner breasts. Chicken is done at 165 degrees F internal temperature with clear juices.
  5. Remove from oven and rest on cutting board for 5 full minutes before slicing. Serve with pan juices spooned over the top.

Notes

Pound breasts to even thickness for consistent cooking. Always verify 165 degrees F with a meat thermometer. Rest 5 minutes before slicing to retain juices. Great for meal prep stored up to 4 days refrigerated.
